Cosy Chic in Reykjavik | OOTD*

Hey angels,

I hope you're all keeping well, and are warm and toasty in your homes while the Beast from the East passes over the UK! I must say, having just been in Iceland where they receive mountains of snow every day, it is funny how useless and ill-prepared us Brits are at the slightest flurry.

Ah well.

I'm back with another fashion post today featuring the most stunning and cosy Aviator Jacket from LOTD. It kept me so snug whilst in the sub zero temperatures of Iceland, I knew I had to tell you all about it when I returned back to the motherland!

I actually saw this gothic-style brickwork and thought - "This is gonna match my jacket, I HAVE to take a picture!"

Aviator Jacket - LOTD
Striped Trousers - Bershka
Biker Boots - Next
Baker Boy Cap - Accessorize
Bag - Aldo

The angels at LOTD (which stands for Look of the Day) kindly sent me this stunning jacket ahead of my Reykjavik trip, and I'm so glad they did! I'll be doing a post dedicated to staying cute but cosy in the absolutely freezing conditions you'll face in Iceland, but I had to give a special feature to this jacket cause I'm just so in love with it!

I ordered it a size up so it wouldn't be too fitted on top of my many many layers, and I was just so impressed with the quality when it arrived! It's a really thick faux leather and then has a faux fur trim, which is such a gorgeous detail, but my fave thing about it that the entire inside of the jacket is faux fur lined! It basically feels like I'm wrapped up in a fluffy blanket, yet I'm actually wearing a hella trendy jacket. Cue the Hannah Montana "Best of Both Worlds" theme song.

I paired the aviator jacket with my go-to striped Bershka trousers, some thick socks and biker boots. They're just so comfy and easy to throw on, plus they held up really well in the snow cause they have a decent tread, so I'm pleased to say there wasn't a single Bambi on Ice moment...

Lucy my travel buddy and I were feeling a little bit adventurous on this particular day and chose to get our ankles out. (Bad decision FYI, my frozen shins did not thank me for this later).

I finished the outfit off with my fave little hat from Accessorize, which is both stylish and practical. My head remained toasty for the whole day - unlike my poor poor ankles - and I'm just loving the baker boy trend right now! I'm so glad I finally jumped on the bandwagon and bought this one, cause I basically can't stop wearing them!

I really would suggest checking out the LOTD website, their Coats and Jackets section is killer right now, plus they have 48% off until tomorrow!!!
