Blogger Meet Up | Goodies, girlies & gin!

Hey honeys,

So I attended two amazing events this week, the first being the Rush Hair Salon opening on Leicester High Street, (more on that in next week's post!) The second event was the much anticipated East Midlands Blogger Meet Up at Manhattan 34 in Leicester.

I have to start off by saying what an amazing job the organisers did with everything. It was so much fun, everything was so well thought out and we all absolutely loved it :) (So thank you Emma of Carpe Diem Emmie, Kirsty of Behind the Scent, Leanne of The Brunette Says and Kirsty of Kirsty Ralph

PS: I'll be linking everyone's blogs as I go, so click on people's names and have a cheeky peek of their page, I dare you.

So after meeting a few gorgeous girls, naturally I headed straight to the bar for their best gin based cocktail with my new partner in crime, Tiffany AKA Frost In Space.  FYI the cocktails were delicious, I'll definitely be back to sample a few more!

Our 'Secret Gin Gardens' - not so secret anymore!

As well as the amazing goodie bag's we received; (it's almost time for the big reveal, I promise!) Danique Hair had a pop up stall for some of us to get our hair styled. The girls were both so friendly and were chatting to us about their new Wella Perfection colour treatments that come in all kinds of pretty pastels. (Mermaid hair? Yes please!) We were also lucky enough to receive a voucher for the salon; and I'm already debating about what colour I'll be going with mine! - Shh don't tell my mum. The beautiful Jazzie gave me some big movie-star curls, which I featured over on my twitter!

Ready to walk the red carpet with my hair and lashes done!

Marie, the director of Angel Eyes, was also at the event to give us some more information on their individual lash extensions. They are starting to pop up in select salons over the UK, just think of them as the HD Brows of the eyelash world! Personally I'm absolutely rubbish at applying or tolerating fake eyelashes, (anyone with me?) so this was something I was very intrigued by. Luckily I had makeup wipes on hand - as you can't wear mascara with these - so the lash technician Rosie gave me a half set of the 'Glamorous' lashes and myself and a lot of the girls were amazed with the finished look! I'll be doing a more detailed review of the lashes soon so keep an eye out for a post on that!

Now the moment you've all been waiting for *drumroll please* Our amazing goodie bags! Thank you so much to all of the brands that generously donated to both the goodie bags and the raffle.

1. LAB2 brush set (Vegan & cruelty free yay!)

Oh and that golden thing gleaming right in the middle of the photo? You know, the most beautiful thing you've ever seen in your life? Well it's called a Happiness Planner and I bloody won it! The girls had organised a raffle in aid of Rainbows Hospice and Bowel Cancer UK, along with some fab prizes to go with, and I was the extremely lucky winner of the highly coveted Happiness Planner. I only wish someone had captured my priceless reaction on camera! P.S I'm sorry Emmie that I stole this away from you. I hope one day you can forgive me ;)

Just look how pretty <3 <3 <3

I think I was already fairly soppy on twitter about what an amazing time I had meeting so many lovely girls, but I'm genuinely so happy I plucked up the courage to go to this event! Everyone was so ridiculously friendly, and I already can't wait for the next one. Note to self - take more selfies

I saw so many eyebrows and contour on fleek that I didn't even get to compliment!

SO I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you went to the event, pretty please leave a comment below so I can follow your blog!
