How are we all? Good? I certainly hope so. I decided to do this impromptu little post, because quite frankly I thought it was about time I did another giveaway. I've been gathering up some of my favourite drugstore products for a while now ready for when I hit 2K on Twitter, and then suddenly I jumped up to 2250 followers, and I'm wondering where the time went!
Anyway, blabbering aside, as well as a competition post this is also a bit of a life update too becaaaaaaaause *drumroll please* I GOT A JOB IN PR WAHOOOOOOOOOOO! If you follow me on twitter you'll probably know all of this already, but for those of you that don't; I recently applied to be the PR Intern at Next HQ for the summer, and not only was I successful, my job role has now evolved to Press Office Junior. (Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!) I'm honestly so proud of myself, and it has definitely put a spring back in my step. For one reason or another (which I won't bore you with now) I was feeling pretty low these past couple of months, so I'm really loving getting used to this new routine.
On with the giveaway!!!
I've picked out a few of my holy grail items from some of my favourite drugstore brands, so I hope you all like them as much as I do. You need to be following my Instagram to enter! (Which you can do here...)
First up is eyes, and what kinda giveaway would this be if it didn't include a killer eyeshadow palette?! This is the Mad for Matte palette by ELF and it's flipping fabulous. Elf in general are just a great affordable brand, and I'm so glad they're finally available in the UK! Kiss do some of my absolute favourite wispy lashes, and these ones are no exception, they're in the style 'Daisy'. (I always get complimented on my lashes when I'm wearing these FYI.)
You may have seen me banging on about this lip oil from Essence on my social media, it's essentially a dupe of the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil. It's so nourishing and lightweight (and about a quarter of the price of the Clarins one!) Love love love. The Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit is in the shade 'Go To' is, and no joke, it's my go to nude. The lip pencil that comes with it is really creamy, and slightly darker than the lip paint, which helps achieve that pretty ombré effect too!
Technic is one of my favourite budget beauty brands. There's a post coming soon on here devoted entirely to them, but for now let's talk about this fab colour correcting palette. I use the yellow shade under my eyes, the green where I have leftover acne scarring and the lavender to brighten my inner corners! Goddess of Faith is a stunning champagne highlight from I Heart Makeup, which is one of the sister companies of Makeup Revolution (And under the TAM Beauty umbrella). The packaging might remind you of a similar product by Too Faced, but I don't care if you don't!I was lucky enough to be sent a very generous selection of brushes from the Ecotools line including this Anniversary Collection, and I have been so so impressed with the quality (blog post and video coming very soon I promise!) As soon as I opened up the parcel I knew these were going straight in a giveaway cause they're so damn cute! Everything Ecotools produces is not only cruelty-free but vegan, and the handles are made from recycled bamboo too!
Now for the boring bit... the rules!
