April Lust List!

Hey guys!

I'm back with a one of my Lust Lists, and it's a bit of a random, impromptu post, that came to me a couple of days ago in Delilah whilst I sipped a soy Flat White (yes slightly excessive detail, I know I know). I quite frankly want EVERYTHING right now and so I'm hoping to curb the shopping addiction by writing about it, rather than buying it all. We'll see how successful I am. Now I'm going to try and keep the rose appliqué-laden items to a minimum cause I'm well aware they're on everybody's wishlist this month. But yes.

Gianvito Rossi Plexi Pump - £525
Londunn X Missguided Black Halterneck Logo Bra - £16
Nip and Fab Eyeshadow Palette Sculpted - £10.95
Aldo Yaessi Block Mules in Midnight Black - £65
Isha Body Jewellery Daith Earring - £12.99
Topshop MOTO Super Rip Mom Jeans - £45

Now I know I don't need those Gianvito Rossi's but it would be bloody great to have them in my life, or more specifically, on my feet. I'd never typically go for a white pair of heels but I love this colour combo of the off-white and nude because they're still really wearable and classic in their shape and design, but are a little different than the standard nude. (Which I still think are beautiful, for the record) I've heard that they're surprisingly comfy too, but I guess we'll see about that. I'm very much a fan of mixing up high and low end pieces into outfits, and these would be the perfect addition to my shoe collection. A girl can dream right? *Long drawn out sigh*

If you're reading this then, yep, I bought it.

I've just picked one thing from the Londunn X Missguided collection for this Lust List, but to quote Sharpay Evans (High School Musical guys COME ON), I want it all! I've always admired Jordan Dunn's edgy, individual style and am really impressed with the whole collection. Being in the small-boobed crew, I love a good bralette, and since I'm one of the only girls on the planet that doesn't own any Calvin Klein underwear, I thought this would make a great alternative. The bikini shape looks like it would be really flattering, but I love that it's got the sports utility vibe to it. NEED.

As you guys may know if you watched my March Favourites video on YouTube, I love me some Nip and Fab skincare. They have so many amazing products and they've definitely helped clear up my skin and acne scarring. So when they announced their cosmetics line earlier this year, you can only imagine my excitement! There are a few things I have my eye on (a few Izzy, really?) but it's this eyeshadow palette that's currently jumping out at me. So many gorgeous neutral shades at such a great price point? It's gonna be a hard one to resist!

Mules. Specifically appliqué mules. This pair is from Aldo and I stare at them every single day cause they're just so freaking adorable. To be honest, I don't know how I've not given in and bought these yet; working in a shoe shop really does test my willpower at times! The flower design make them so perfect for Spring and they've got that cute 70's vibe going for them too. The only thing I'm questioning is how easy they might slip off. Hmmmm...

This probably sounds totally random mixed in with my other picks for this month, but I've been feeling another ear piercing for a while now. (For the record, I have 2 on each lobe, and then 2 cartilage piercings on my left ear, so I feel that my right ear needs balancing out! Is that weird?) Daith piercings can look so elegant with the right jewellery; I recently discovered Maria Tash through Fleur de Force, and as stunning as her earrings are, at £135 a pop? I think I'll pass! I've used Isha Body Jewellery before and they always used plated surgical steel and NO nickel, so you won't get any nasty infections or rusty jewellery!

I'm loving the ripped jeans trend at the moment, and while I do own a pair of skinny jeans with rips in, I'm lacking in the Mom jeans department. (Can we address the name though, who's mother is really wearing these?) They're just so effortlessly fashionable, and look great with a chunky belt and some Adidas Gazelles, or dressed-up with a pair of girlie heels like the mules I mentioned above! My search for Mom jeans until now has been fairly fruitless as I have a long torso, so they never sit high enough on my waist. BUT I refuse to give up. Maybe one day hey?

So there are a few of the things I've got my eye on right now. What's on your wishlist this month?

Thanks for reading your Dose of Lusting

  9. I love this idea- and I do exactly the same. If something is on my list for a month, the logic is that I can bu it. It has saved me from a lot of 'what was I thinking?!'purchases to be fair. I can't believe the Nip +Fab palette is only £10! I need it! Even though I have about a million similar...ahem...
